How it works
Combining interactive layers of geographical data into a unique single-info hub
Spatial Hub analytics is an intelligent aggregator of big spatial data.
Multiple interactive layers and sources of geographical data combine into a simple, coherent data platform with powerful analytical capabilities.
The large database can be extracted and analysed via new Applications developed by ourselves and 3rd parties.
It provides the ability to integrate and connect data from multiple sources, e.g. real-time drone data being added to static land data solving the problem of interoperability between products.
Spatial Hub Analytics offers a unique 4D data model.
In additional to standard location 2D based products (latitude and longitude) we add elevation and time. This allows precise terrain modelling which can be overlayed with time-based analysis. This provides a valuable tool for managing environmental risks such as floods, fire, carbon and land overuse.
The Spatial Hub components
The Core – 4 Dimensional Data (Lat, Long, Elevation and Time) is at the heart of it all
The Machines – that analyse and integrate the time based spatial data
The Tool Shed – where the customers have all the tools they need to develop and support their products
Governance & Customer Fulfilment Centre – how we keep control of what is going on and interface with our customers
How it all works:
How we Build Products and Applications
The core of the Spatial Hub is our 4D (longitude, latitude, elevation and time) Spatial Information Store – a powerful big data artificial intelligence system designed to be agnostic to spatial and non-spatial data sources. This has powerful applications in being able to build a myriad of analysis products from normally difficult to integrate information sources.
The Spatial Hub contains a geo-spatial analytics tool to aid the storage of coherent and consistent map data from all available sources. This is combined in the 4D Spatial Information Store with more precision data and land asset data used and collected from our growing customer base. With time and usage, the underpinning data becomes more accurate and valuable.
Built on the Spatial Hub are Artificial Intelligent (AI) Modules that undertake certain tasks and can be integrated to create a Product. FarmMap4D is a Product formed in this way. Our Products are offered to general clients under a Subscription model structure that encourages users to add to our 4D Spatial Information Store with their accurate spatial data. As such we are “paying” users to add accurate data.
Our Spatial Hub and AI Module structure makes building new Products or Application straightforward. Creating a new Product just means using the Spatial Hub with different Modules. This will then be sold under a Subscription model, as above. However, building a new Application means exchanging some existing Modules with ones specifically developed for a client. This will then be licensed to them with an additional Subscription for the baseline Product.
Developers working as “Partners” are able to access our Spatial Hub for a licence fee. We will be an attractive supplier, as we have already developed the data storage, tools, and coherency across layers of data. Many companies are only beginning to understand geo-spatial data and the value it brings. We mitigate the risks and costs of “build-our-own” developments allowing accelerated deployments of new Applications through re-use of the Spatial Hub and AI Modules.
CASE STUDY: FarmMap4D
FarmMap4D was formed with the support from Frontier SA and AAM Pty Ltd (a major privately owned aerial survey company).
A comprehensive proving of the technology across 100+ properties covering an area of over 50 million hectares.
FarmMap4D is being regularly used by over 500 (family and corporate) grazing properties under a subscriber model for farming clients with high satisfaction and retention rates.
“If we fail to use and embrace innovation there is no way we’ll keep pace with our competitors in producing beef. And once you have a play with FarmMap4D, that’s when you’ll think, what CAN’T it do?”
Russell and family own 3 properties, with a holding of approximately 320,000 ha (791,000 acres) & 14,000 head of cattle.
